We're excited to announce Cursor v0.42, bringing significant improvements to Composer functionality and VS Code integration.
What's New
Composer History & AI Debug
- Composer history lets you access previous composer sessions after restart
- You can edit and resubmit from previous messages within a session
- Slight improvements to Debug with AI

VS Code Integration
- VS Code 1.93.1: Cursor is now based on VS Code 1.93.1
- Python auto import for Cursor Tab is much more stable
- Easier model switching with model search (Cmd-option-/) in chat, composer, and cmd-k input boxes
- Composer now only applies files in context to prevent hallucinations
