About Cursor.fan

Cursor.fan is an independent website for developers who use Cursor, the AI-first code editor. We publish step-by-step tutorials, troubleshooting guides, comparisons, and a searchable directory of MCP servers.

What we do

  • Tutorials: practical, task-based guides that walk through real workflows in Cursor.
  • Troubleshooting: symptom-first articles that map an error message to its root cause and a fix.
  • MCP directory: an organized index of Model Context Protocol servers with setup instructions.
  • Comparisons: regularly updated comparisons between Cursor and other AI coding tools.

Independence

Cursor.fan is a community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anysphere, Inc., the company behind Cursor. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

When we describe a feature, we aim to base it on the official Cursor documentation and hands-on testing. Where a behavior is version-dependent, we say so and record the date we last verified it.

How the site is built

The site is a static documentation project generated with Docusaurus and hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Tutorials are written in Markdown and translated into several languages. See our Editorial Policy for sourcing, review, and correction rules.
